<p>The present invention relates to a magnetoresistive sensor comprising a first trapped-magnetization magnetic layer (410), called the trapped layer, and a free-magnetization magnetic layer (430), called the sensitive layer, the magnetization of which, in the absence of an external field, is approximately orthogonal to the magnetization of the trapped layer, said trapped and sensitive layers being separated by a first magnetic-decoupling separator layer (420). The sensor further includes a layer (440), called the lateral coupling layer, located the opposite side of the sensitive layer from the separator layer, and enabling the lateral spin transfer to be controlled.</p> |
