<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display with which a degree of minuteness and arrangement of information, etc. are selected according to a user's tastes and which displays as many pieces of information as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The information display is comprised of an input/output means 107 for inputting the degree of minuteness of information to be displayed, a display attribute storing means 106 holding the input degree of minuteness, an information storage part 101 which stores the information by dividing it by elements, an information selection part 102 which holds association between the degree of minuteness and the elements, selects and takes out the information from the information storage part 101 based on the association, a layout information part 103 which holds arrangement information of cells, a limiting condition storage part 109 which stores limiting conditions regarding cell display, a display structure determination part 108 which evaluates the limiting conditions stored in the limiting condition storage part 109 according to information from the information selection part 102 and the arrangement information from the layout information part 103 and determines the size and the arrangement of the cells using linear programming and a display generation part 105 which generates the display based on the size and the arrangement of the cells from the display structure determination part 108. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
