An apparatus and a method for door control of customer access module and an automatic teller machine using the same are provided to prevent malfunction of a gear and a motor by controlling the drive of the motor according to opening/closing operation of a door and open/close state of a door. A door(10) is opened and closed for offering or enclosing media. The media is passed through a customer access module. The motor(20) operates opening or closure of the door. The sensor(40) senses open/close state and opening/closing operation of the door. The sensor comprises an open sensor(41) detecting open state of the door and a close sensor(42) for detecting close state of the door. According to opening/closing operation of the door sensed with the sensor, a controller(30) selectively controls the drive of the motor.
