A Sybil attack detection method in a ubiquitous sensor network is provided to remove the necessity of installing the complicated hardware in an administrator node which manages security of the ubiquitous sensor network by performing a simple software procedure. An administrator node broadcasts a calculation instruction packet, and drives a response delay timer(S300). The administrator node receives a plurality of response packets within the response timeout, extracts information about each node ID of the received response packets and the time of receiving response packets to calculate the response delay(S302), generates a response delay table with information about the calculated response delay(S304), and then assigns a response delay for the latest received response packet while assigning a different response delay for the next received response packet, in order to calculate the calculation delay(S306).
