PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a cartridge member in which print quality can be sustained at a high level by ejecting ink uniformly from a print head. SOLUTION: Ink filling each ink package 8a, 9a of each ink cartridge 8, 9 flows into each ink extraction needle 10 stuck into each ink package through each extraction hole thereof and passes through each coupling member 11 before being fed to a print head 7 through four supply tubes 12. Each supply tube 12 is bent toward the print head 1 wherein the bend passes from the upper space of a portable printer 1 through an opening and inclines downward toward the print head 7 disposed in the lower space through a baffle. Since the bend of each supply tube 12 can be made wider than the depth of portable printer 1 as compared with a conventional printer being arranged substantially horizontally, radius of curvature R is increased at the bend and energy loss of ink flowing through each supply tube 12 is reduced. Consequently, pulsation of ink being fed from each supply tube 12 to the print head 7 is suppressed. |
