A trap and a trench having the trap are provided to offer pleasant indoor environment, to prevent the invasion of harmful insects, thereby to keep clean, and to connect tightly to a drain pipe without restriction by a diameter of a drain pipe. A trap(100) is installed to make the water level of a discharge chamber projected to the outside of a housing to be overlapped with the top of a flow outlet of a housing(150) by discharging sewage finally, and equipped with a cover member(110) having a plurality of support projections to mount each pipeline having a different diameter to the upper part of the housing, wherein the housing is provided with a shield plate opening and closing a drain hole with dead weight and connected with an offensive odor cutoff unit(180) having a cover member provided with a plurality of support projections to the top to apply to each pipeline having a different diameter. |
