METHOD FOR THE SPRAY APPLICATION OF EPOXY-BASED BOND MATERIAL ON THE SHIP'S RUDDER TO REDUCE THE CAVITATION DAMAGE

A spray-coating method of an epoxy group adhesive for reducing erosion of rudder cavitation is provided to perform easily work by existing coating spray work, to repair easily the epoxy group adhesive for reducing erosion of rudder cavitation and to improve lifetime of the rudder. A spray-coating method of an epoxy group adhesive for reducing erosion of rudder cavitation comprises: (A) surface-processing rudder-having metal using blasting or electric tool; (B) carrying out primer coating for anti-rust 2 times to 300um of thickness; (C) coating substitution coating material before the primer coating for anti-rust is dried; and (D) carrying out anti-fouling for anti-rust 2 times to 300um of thickness before the middle coating for anti-rust is dried. The coating stage of the substitution coating material is spray work using painting machine.
