A side bolster assembly for vehicle rear seats is provided to reduce the weight and manufacturing cost thereof and obtain a mounting unit proper for mounting a single body to a vehicle. A body part(10) is formed of expanded polypropylene integrally. Brackets(30,40) are coupled with upper and lower parts at a rear surface of the body part. The body part has through-holes formed with a stepped portion in the middle. The brackets have through-holes(32,42) at positions corresponding to that of the body part. Coupling fasteners pass through the through-holes of the body part and the brackets and captured by the stepped portion and the brackets, thereby coupling the body part with the brackets. |
