A method for prevention of generation of the post-resection pleural cavity comprises anterior-lateral thoracotomy, the resection of the upper lobe of the lung, the elimination of the post-resection pleural cavity, and the filling of the cavity of the pleural fornix with the proteinoid material, namely collagenous gel. After resection of the upper lobe of the lung, the pleuroplasty is performed with the aid of oxycellulose tissue. |
