Multi-channel error evaluating method for measuring or processing variables, involves representing measuring/process variables as pulse-width-modulated signals, where pulse length and pulse flanks are evaluated with synchronous basis clock
摘要

The method involves representing measuring or process variables in the form of pulse-width-modulated (PWM) signals, where pulse length is a measure for the measuring or process variable. The pulse length and pulse flanks are evaluated with synchronous basis clock of the PWM signals regarding error-relevant parameters. The pulse length and a flank frequency are compared with given minimum and/or maximum threshold values as error-relevant parameters. A pulse-width-modulated process variable is evaluated at an output of an actuator (1). An independent claim is also included for a circuit for multi-channel error evaluation of measuring or process variables.
