A 3D input method and system for the hand-held devices that enables the user to move, navigate, or edit in 3D using one finger of the user's hand in intuitive manner. The present invention utilizes a 5-way button on the hand-held device keyboard to provide sex degrees of freedom to manipulate a pointer to move in 3D on the hand-held device display, serving many 3D applications such as GPS, virtual reality, and gaming. |
