The device has sockets (2, 3) housed in a base, and removable plugs in which each plug includes terminals (81-83) respectively inserted in orifices (41-43) of one of the sockets. Each socket has a mobile closing flap moved to a rest position for closing the orifices during the absence of corresponding plug in the socket and to a disengage position for releasing the orifices to pass the terminals of the plug during the presence of the plug in the socket. The flaps have respective identical arms (56) connected to respective identical bodies (50).
