AN ARRAY SUBSTRATE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND THE METHOD FOR FABRICATING THEREOF

An array substrate of a liquid crystal device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the contrast ratio and prevent light leakage by solving the irregular rubbing due to array element. A substrate(300) is divided into a first region, a second region, and a third region. The third region is placed between the first and the second region. A switching element is comprised in the first area of the top of the substrate. A pixel electrode(370) is comprised in the second part. A first pattern(382) is comprised in the first area on the pixel electrode. A passivation layer pattern consists of the at least more than two second patterns(384). The height of the second patterns are successively decreased to the direction of the second part.
