The invention provides with electric power engines featuring external rotors enhanced cooling and thus increased efficiency rates as well cost-effectiveness of its operation. The cooling air enters centrally through the opening (11) as well as through the transverse opening in the hollow shaft (3) inside the engine where the radially designed grooves (13, 15) generate a cooling low. The cooling air is released from the engine through the openings (16) on the rotor cover (7) and slot (17). To protect the engine from harmful effects of dust and water there is prior the intake (11) of air into the shaft (3) a cover featuring a labyrinth (18) or an air-permeable diaphragm. |
