Digital concentrator. The digital concentrator which is the subject of the invention is for the purpose of improving and facilitating maintenance by means of automatic tests on the system, tests which can determine a faulty card and subsequently isolate it, as well as tasks relating to the installation and expansion thereof. It consists basically of a central cabinet 1 or various cabinets combined and a multiplicity of operational positions 2 up to a maximum of 256 groups such that each control card is associated with two of them through an intermediate distributor, this all easing maintenance, since the cards are interchangeable, and facilitating expansion of the system by means of a simple operation. <IMAGE>
