A lubricator assembly 6 for use in air pressure systems, in which oil is conveyed in the air stream, incorporates a number of lubricator units 35 located in the housing between the body 16 and reservoir 17. Within the housing isa passage with valve means to control pressurization of the lubricant in the reservoir from the air system. The lubricator units 35 have a body portion formed by upper and lower ports and in which is located a reciprocatable spring-loaded valve member 64 which is adapted to seat at each end of its travel within the lubricator body. In operation oil is supplied in the air stream through pipes 7 and 10 via a control valve 11 to one or more points in the system. In addition, however, small quantities of oil are supplied to respective points in the system from the lubricators 35 in which the valve members 64 are actuated by pressure differentials between each side thereof due to pressure variations in the air system and pressurized lubricant in the reservoir. |
