A device for generating controlled vibration in an uncontrolled temperature environment includes a driving circuit 150 that generates a signal having a first frequency, and a temperature-sensitive driving unit 130, such as a piezoelectric chopper, a vibratory element 135 being coupled to the driving unit and vibrating at the first frequency according to the generated signal, and a temperature control circuit to control the temperature of the driving unit. In operation, the resonant frequency of a first circuit including a piezoelectric transducer to which the vibratory element is coupled may be obtained and an operational frequency, distinct from the resonant frequency, may be calculated, the circuit being driven at the operational frequency. |
