METHOD FOR MEASUREMENTING HOME CELL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A home cell measurement method in a mobile communications system for controlling in order to measure the quality of a radio link in the mobile communications system is provided to measure the determination of accurate location by using a measurement controlling message and to reduce unnecessary cell measurement signal. Location data which shows the location of a first user terminal in network is acquired. It determines whether the first user terminal is close to home cell by using obtained position data(S2). A cell measurement control message is transmitted to the first user terminal from network through a base station clarifying the measurement of the home cell. The accurate location measurement is performed in the first user terminal. The home sell is measured(S3).
