<p>Provided are a sound wave generator (2), which includes a piezoelectric substrate (2a) and comb-like electrodes (2b and 2c) formed on the face of the piezoelectric substrate and excited by the input of a drive signal, wherein the comb-like electrodes are driven by a signal of a drive frequency different from the frequency determined from the comb-tooth spacing, thereby to generate a plurality of sound waves of different oscillation modes simultaneously, an agitating device and an automatic analyzing device. The agitating device includes the sound wave generator and a control unit for controlling a drive signal to be inputted to the comb-like electrodes, so that it agitates a liquid held in a container, by making use of at least one of the sound waves of different oscillation modes, which are simultaneously generated by the sound wave generator.</p> |
