A roll de-centering analysis method and a roll de-centering removing apparatus of a rolling mill are provided to estimate top and bottom eccentric component simply and precisely. A method for analyzing the de-centering of a back-up roll in a rolling mill comprises a first analysis step(S1) for performing Fourier analysis at every rotation section while rotating the back-up roll pair a fixed number of times and setting a first eccentricity removal control value; a second analysis step(S2a,S2b) for shifting relative topology determined by the degree of the Fourier analysis by 180‹, performing Fourier analysis while rotating the rolling mill based on the first eccentricity removal control value a fixed number of times, and setting a second eccentricity removal control value by modifying the first eccentricity removal control value; and a third analysis step(S3a,S3b) for shifting the relative topology by 180‹again, performing Fourier analysis while rotating the rolling mill based on the second eccentricity removal control value a fixed number of times, and setting a third eccentricity removal control value by modifying the second eccentricity removal control value.
