A top opening packing box is provided, which improves durability by preventing the box from being easily collapsed. A top opening packing box is made of the paper material and comprises: a square bottom part; the left side part, the right side part(40), and the front-rear side part(20); and the space for receiving articles. A lid part(31) is foldably extended from the top of the left side part. An extension wing(32) is foldably extended from both sides of the lid part. A combining projection(33) is formed in a part of the extension wing. An auxiliary cover part(41) is foldably extended from the top of the right side part. A bonding groove is formed in one side of the front-rear side part.
