<p>The invention relates to a power circuit for electric locomotives having series D.C.motors. According to the invention, the power circuit consists of two adjacent motors (M1 and M2) to which there are serially connected some rotors (1 and 2) and with some excitation coils (12 and 13) forming some identical and independent power modules (A) for two axles, (A and B) for four axles, (A, B and C) for six axles, the field weakening being achieved continuously, by the decrease of the supply voltage of the excitation coils (12 and 13), by the control of some D.C.current voltage arms (14 and 15).</p> |
