FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: blank is cut from sheet and curled in ring. Ends of blank is welded in a butt joint with provision of cylindrical shell. Disk profile is formed on part of shell by cold rolling with roller on mandrel in reeling machine. At the same time disk wall subject to adjacency with wheel rim is thinned. Then part of shell that is left from formation of disk profile is transformed by cold rolling into plane of disk seat that has central opening. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of item.
