RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

A secondary battery is provided to reduce the number of parts and to decrease the step of manufacturing processes by using a hard case capable of being attached or detached easily. A secondary battery comprises a bare cell(35) which has the shape of the rectangular parallelepiped; a circuit part(50) which is electrically connected with the bare cell; and a case(90) covering the circuit part to the bare cell, wherein the case comprises a main case(70) which is installed in one side of the bare cell and a sub-case which is installed at the side which is installed in at least one side other than the sides adjacent to the one side of the bare cell where the main case is installed, and the main case and the sub-case are installed integrally.
