FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: hydraulic brake comprises housing accommodating cylindrical rotor fitted on shaft running in plain bearings. Rotor outer surface features blind, preferably semi-circular, holes, its edges being furnished with blade helical screen communicating with suction and pressure chambers via inlet and outlet branch pipes. Plain bearings are lubed by pumped medium fed from pressure chamber via housing holes to the R.H. bearing and discharged into said blade helical screen and L.H. bearing, drain being arranged via shaft bore into suction chamber. The housing accommodates hydraulic thrust bearing forming, along with the rotor surface, an end face slit. Note that there are radial slit between the housing and rotor and a chamber arranged between the said radial and end face slits. The housing inner part accommodates a pack of throttling washers communicating said suction and pressure chambers. ^ EFFECT: minimum sizes, wider range of stable operation ensured by vortex interaction of working fluid with device components. ^ 8 cl, 8 dwg |
