FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: looped band caterpillar of vehicle contains elastic flexible base with load-bearing layer, grousers, and lead metal cross-pieces vulcanised into elastic base. Lead metal cross-pieces are of ""-shape and are located in caterpillar transverse plane occupying part of caterpillar width interacting with drive wheel. Inside ""-shape metal cross-pieces are placed rubberised cross members represented by multilayer bars of alternating layers of high-strength and elastic materials molded throughout caterpillar width. Rubberised cross members represented by multilayer bars may be made of alternating layers of high-strength fiberglass and rubber or polyurethane. Rubberised cross members in form of bars may be made of several layers of steel-wire cord or spring steel sheets with alternating layers of rubber or polyurethane. ^ EFFECT: service time is prolonged and reliable securing of cross-pieces with lead and guiding elements. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
