FLUORESCENT MATERIAL, LIGHT EMITTING INK COMPOSITION, AND ORGANIC EL ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent material having extremely high heat resistance and amorphousness, and forming a film with high color purity by a wet process, and to provide a light emitting ink composition and an organic EL element comprising the same.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is a fluorescent material expressed by formula (1); wherein R1denotes an aromatic group or the like having an unsubstituent or 1 to 8C substituent group in which the total of rings is≤4 pieces; and R2denotes a phenyl group having a substituent group at an ortho position. The fluorescent material exhibits blue fluorescence. Also disclosed are a light emitting ink composition obtained by incorporating the fluorescent material into an aromatic organic solvent, and an organic EL element with the fluorescent material as a light emitting material in a light emitting layer is obtained.
