PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope binding device having a structure capable of keeping the binding (connection) of wire ropes even by applying a strong tension to the wire rope. SOLUTION: The wire rope binding device 30 contains an inside upper half member 31, an inside lower half member 32 and an outside cylindrical member 33. Each of the inside upper half member 31 and the inside lower half member 32 has a wire rope groove. End parts of two wire ropes 10a, 10b having a stopper 11 fixed to the terminal end are inserted into the wire rope grooves to double a prescribed length of the end parts, and both half members 31, 32 are put into the outer cylindrical member 33.
