An imaging apparatus (1) is provided with a substrate (70) for mounting an imaging element (60); a sealing frame (50) fixed to the substrate (70) to surround the imaging element (60); a lens holder (30) and a ring member (40), which are movably arranged on the sealing frame (50) in an optical axis direction and are provided with lenses (11, 12) for forming an image on the imaging element (60); a cover member (20), which is arranged to face the lens holder (30) and the ring member (40), on the opposite side to the side whereupon the sealing frame (50) for the lens holder (30) and the ring member (40) is arranged; and an elastic member (90), which is arranged in a space formed by the lens holder (30), the ring member (40) and the cover member (20), and urges the holding member (30) toward the sealing frame (50). The elastic member (90) is formed in a shape for blocking a space formed by the lens holder (30), the ring member (40) and the cover member (20). ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
