SPHERICAL SHAPE GLASS FRIT POWDERS WITH HIGH DISPERSABILTIY AND PROCESS FOR THE SAME

A Bi-based spherical glass frit powder, a conductive paste composition containing the glass frit powder, and a method for preparing the glass frit powder are provided to improve dispersion even without containing environmentally toxic PbO. A Bi-based spherical glass frit powder comprises 40-90 wt% of Bi2O3; 0-30 wt% of B2O3; 5-30 wt% of ZnO; 0-10 wt% of SiO2; 0-10 wt% of BaO; 0-10 wt% of Al2O3; and 0-10 wt% of Na2O. Preferably the glass frit powder has a size of 0.2-3 micrometers. The glass frit powder is prepared by dissolving at least one precursor selected from an acetate, a nitrate, a chloride, a hydroxide and an oxide in distilled water or an alcohol to prepare 0.02-3 M precursor solution; injecting the precursor solution into a spray device to generate the droplet having a diameter of 0.1-100 micrometers; injecting the droplet into a reactor of 200-1,700 deg.C; and maintaining the duration time of the injected droplet to be 0.1-30 sec by the flux change of a carrier gas.
