摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection detecting device capable of detecting and informing wrong insertion of flexible flat cables. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable (FFC) 203a is connected to connectors 205 and 206 of a printed-circuit board 201 and a printed-circuit board 202, respectively. Connection detecting output signal of an output port 307 is transmitted to a terminal B1 of the connector 206 via FFC 203a from a terminal A15 of the connector 205. As a terminal B1 and a terminal B12 of the connector 206 are connected through a signal line in the printed-circuit board 202, after the connection detecting output signal is transmitted to a terminal A4 of the connector 205 via a terminal B12 of the connector 206 and FFC 203a to input into an input port 308, a control circuit 204 compares the output level of an output port 307 with the input level of the input port 307 to judge whether it connects by the right FFC.
