<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system of a motorcycle capable of reducing manufacturing cost, by minimizing the length of an exhaust pipe, and improving an appearance of the motorcycle, by hiding an exhaust emission control catalyst device by a muffler in a side view. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust system has the exhaust pipe 61 connected to an exhaust port 23b of an engine E, the exhaust emission control catalyst device 62 arranged so that the longitudinal direction runs in the substantially vehicle width direction of the motorcycle 10, and the muffler 63 arranged so that the longitudinal direction runs in the substantially longitudinal direction of the motorcycle 10. A front part 68 of the muffler 63 is extended to the front of the motorcycle 10, and is arranged so as to overlap with the exhaust emission control catalyst device 62 in the side view, and the exhaust emission control catalyst device 62 is hidden by the muffler 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
