PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an uneven pattern foamed sheet by which the uneven pattern formed sheet capable of being used as a light diffusion body can simply be manufactured.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of uneven pattern formed sheet comprises: a process of forming a layered sheet by disposing a hard layer made of a metal or a metal compound, which has a smooth surface and has a thickness of >0.01 μm and ≤0.2 μm, on one surface of a base made of resin; and a process of deforming at least a hard layer of the layered sheet so as to fold the hard layer, wherein the hard layer is constituted with a metal or a metal compound.
