PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate improvement in production efficiency and to attain cost reduction.

SOLUTION: The color filter comprises a dielectric multilayer film DF formed in a first color-filter layer 411R, a dielectric multilayer film DF formed in a second color-filter layer 411G and a dielectric multilayer film DF formed in a third color-filter layer 411B, each of the layers being laminated so as to have mutually the same layer structure and have a differing layer thickness.
