PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove feathers staying on a feces-removing belt caused by the flying of cast feather of chickens, in a poultry farming system. SOLUTION: The poultry farming system is constituted of a feces-removing belt placed under the cage 1 of each stage and endlessly circulating by a motor 13, a blade 9 coming into contact with the feces-removing belt and scraping off the poultry feces on the feces-removing belt, and a controller 12 to control the motor in a manner to rotate the feces-removing belt in normal direction and reverse direction. The rotating time of the feces-removing belt in reverse direction controlled by the controller 12 is made shorter than the rotation time in normal direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
