The pump has a radial cam switched into a hydraulic turbine mode by releasing the radial cam. The radial cam is released for engaging open-circuited pump rotors to activate pump function, where the pump rotors are driven by an external drive. A turning vane is provided at an inlet and outlet slot for turning fluid flow in a rotary direction and is used as a turbine. An automatic no-load operation is ensured in the pump during drop of pressure in the hydraulic turbine mode, and continuous transition to an external drive in an axis is ensured in the pump.
