<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-stage supercharging turbocharger increased in turbo efficiency by efficiently absorbing the pulsation of the exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In this two-stage supercharging turbocharger 100, a first supercharger 200 and a second supercharger 300 are connected in series to each other through a communication part 400. The exhaust gas fluid discharged from each cylinder of an engine is so divided into a plurality of flows by a plurality of exhaust gas passages that the pulsation of the exhaust gas is not attenuated by the interference of the exhaust gas. The passage of the volute chamber of the first supercharger 200 extends parallel to the axial direction of the turbine rotor 210 of the first supercharger 200 by the partition walls dividing the passage into a plurality of passages. Also, the passage in the communication part 400 is divided into a plurality of passages by partition parts 472. The partition walls dividing the passage of the volute chamber of the second supercharger 300 into a plurality of passages are so formed as to correspond to the plurality of passages of the communication part 400. The exhaust gas fluid flowing in each of the plurality of passages of the volute chamber of the first supercharger 200 is divided into the plurality of passages by the communication part 400. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
