PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage electromagnetic wave caused by a leakage current that can not be disregarded from a viewpoint of leakage noise and flows to the enclosure of a coaxial cable that performs signal transmission, the leakage current occurring even if an impedance matching circuit is installed in a capacitive signal coupling apparatus when the coaxial cable that performs signal transmission and a power line are signal-coupled to each other using the capacitive signal coupling apparatus in power line carriage communication using a high-frequency carrier at an MHz level of 2 to 30 MHz. SOLUTION: The power line carriage communication system is provided wherein the coaxial cable 4 that performs signal transmission and the power line 1 are signal-coupled to each other using the capacitive signal coupling apparatus 3 and power line carriage communication is performed using the carrier of a high frequency band of MHz level. The power line carriage communication system reduces the leakage current that flows to the coaxial cable, caused by impedance matching between the power line 1 and the capacitive signal coupling apparatus 3.
