PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide synthetic fibers which hardly deteriorate a water-repelling performance, even when repeatedly washed, have an excellent water-repelling performance, and have practically durable sufficient mechanical physical properties such as strength and elongation. SOLUTION: Polyester fibers including a polyester composition containing a modified silicone compound having two functional groups at one end contain 2.0 to 20.0 wt.% of the silicone compound based on the weight of the polyester composition, and the polyester composition has an intrinsic viscosity of≥0.61 dl/g.
