PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition improved in fatigue resistance or wear resistance in traveling, and a method for producing the rubber composition excellent in performances by suppressing heating. SOLUTION: The rubber composition including rubber containing inorganic particles comprises 0.5 to 30 pts.wt. of synthetic fibers 10 to 1,000 nm in diameter to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber. The rubber composition is produced through a kneading step, and in the kneading step, the inorganic particles and the synthetic fibers are put into the rubber so that the content of the synthetic fiber is 0.5 to 30 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber, and dispersed in the rubber.
