PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller capable of obtaining a satisfactory image for a long term by making the ability of an undercoat layer to be set and the low hardness of the undercoat layer compatible. SOLUTION: The developing roller includes: a shaft 1; an elastic layer 2 held on the periphery of the shaft 1; one or more undercoat layers 3 and a surface layer 4 formed in that order on the peripheral face. The one or more undercoat layers 3 are all formed from a water-based resin. At least one of the undercoat layers 3 contains acrylonitrile and n-butyl acrylate at a monomer ratio of 1 to 25: 99 to 75. In addition, a water-based acrylic resin the molecule of which contains a group that has an active hydrogen is cross-linked by an oxazoline-based cross-linking agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
