PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which carries out color conversion processing according to imaging apparatuses such as a scope or the like and improves precision of color reproduction, and also to provide a scope corresponding to the image processing apparatus and an endoscope apparatus equipped with them. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises a plurality of color conversion means, an information acquiring means for acquiring an index used for selecting at least one from the plurality of color conversion means as a designated color conversion means that carries out color conversion processing with respect to an input image signal, and a selecting means for selecting at least one from the plurality of color conversion means as the designated color conversion means on the basis of the index. Each of the plurality of color conversion means has a linear color conversion means that carries out color conversion processing with respect to the input image signal by linear conversion and a non-linear color conversion means that carries out color conversion processing with respect to the input image signal by non-linear conversion.
