PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lawn pavement base material provided with hardness necessary for forming pavement surface and growth space for lawn roots necessary for forming green ground surface without causing trouble in growth of the lawn roots because of compacted ground or without coming to such a situation that the ground gets too loosened to bear the load, tread pressure or the like at such a place as a parking place where automobiles often get in or out. SOLUTION: The lawn pavement base material is provided with a lot of coarsely-graded materials as aggregate, is formed so that a lot of finely-graded materials each having a smaller diameter than that of the coarsely-graded materials are housed in engagement gap parts among the coarsely-graded material and the engagement gap parts among the coarsely-graded materials have space allowing the lawn roots to grow, and is provided with lawn materials such as seedlings and lawn seeds so as to allow the lawn roots to grow in the engagement gap parts.
