摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce a measuring time without lowering measurement quality by causing currents to flow at multiple spots simultaneously in an electric exploration and an electric logging, and calculating a response potential on the occasion of causing a current to flow independently at an arbitrary current flowing point by mathematical processing from observed potential waveforms. SOLUTION: By selecting, as waveforms of currents made to flow from multiple points simultaneously, waveforms between which the covariance is zero, a response on the occasion of causing a current to flow independently at an arbitrary current flowing point can be found by dividing the covariance between the observed potential waveforms and an arbitrary flowing current waveform by the variance of the flowing current waveforms.
