<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detectable monofilament having an excellent contrasting performance to X-ray, flexible, suitable for intercalating in fabric and nonwoven fabric, especially usable as a surgical gauze. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray detectable monofilament is a monofilament composed of a thermoplastic resin containing a radiopaque agent, wherein 30-80 mass% of a radiopaque agent is contained in the monofilament, and the filament has a Young's modulus of not more than 3.0 cN/dtex and a fineness of 1,000-20,000 dtex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
