PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display quality by improving the assembling precision after the sealing step of adhering the motherboards and of discharging air. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: a sealing step of adhering a first motherboard 1 having display elements 3 formed in an array corresponding to the array substrates and a second motherboard 2 having display elements 3 formed in an array matching the facing plates through a first sealant 11 and a second sealant 12 and of discharging the air; and a cutting sep of cutting out one or more display elements 3 from the motherboards 1, 2 adhered together in the sealing step and of forming a liquid crystal display panel structure composed of the array substrate and the facing panel. In the sealing step, the first sealant 11 and the second sealant 12 are arranged around the motherboards 1, 2 and display elements 3; first exhaust holes 11a are formed on the almost parallel two sides A, B pairing with the motherboards 1, 2 on the first sealant 11 arranged around the motherboards 1, 2; and second exhaust holes 12a are formed on the almost parallel two sides C, D pairing with the display elements 3 on the second sealant 12 arranged around the display elements 3.
