<p>Provided is a compressor for avoiding a liquid compression thereby to prevent the breakage of a member, which might otherwise be caused by the repetition of the liquid compression. An escape passage (51) is provided to communicate with a compression chamber (11), when the internal pressure of the compression chamber (11) reaches the highest level in the compression stroke. Even if the internal pressure of the compression chamber (11) is raised by a liquid seal, the coolant of the compression chamber (11) can be released from the escape passage (51), thereby to prevent the excessive compression which might otherwise be caused by the liquid seal of the compression chamber (11).</p> |
