<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate exchange work of a discharge lamp for lighting. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting device includes a first and a second support parts 11, 12 to support a first and a second discharge lamps 3, 4 for lighting, a lighting circuit 13 for lighting the discharge lamps 3, 4 for lighting, and a base part 14 in which the first and the second support parts 11, 12 and the lighting circuit 13 are installed.
