PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs to be generated as much as possible when a server computer which executes processing in response to a request from a client computer imposes function restriction on the client computer. SOLUTION: In a computer processing function restriction system for controlling the generation configurations of a processing request to designate what type of processing is requested when the processing request is transmitted from a client computer 1 to a server computer 2 which is able to execute a plurality of processings, function restriction information for holding the content of the function restriction to be charged on the client computer 1 is stored as a data file in the storage device of the client computer 1, and the data file is transmitted to the server computer 2, and executable processing information specified by the server computer 2 is received by the client computer 1, and the processing request generated on the basis of the information is transmitted to the server computer 2.
