The invention relates to a pad device for the effective cleaning of optical lenses with a magnetically fastened shoe that can be fitted onto many types of holder. It comprises a first shoe-holding push-button piece (1) designed to be fastened to a holder (3) and consisting of two nested elements (1b) and (1c), gripping the holder (3) for the cleaning tool, and of a movable part formed by a pad shoe (3), which is held in place by a magnet (1f) housed in the fixed part, the shoe being able to move horizontally in a circular manner about its axis so as to be limited by grooves and a spring mechanism. The effectiveness of the cleaning action of the pad on the lens is achieved by microfibres with specific laser-sculpted patterns, to which the pressure of the protrusions of a cellular foam is applied, which protrusions are themselves designed for optimum interaction with the microfibres. This foam is pressed, in its upper part, on a flexible flat-bottomed concave part making it possible, by closely following the shape of the lens when pressure is exerted thereon, to increase the cleaning area. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to be fitted onto holders with a clip or grip, or any other lens cleaning tool. |
